Arenal Jungle Villas

Three glampsites nestled in the jungle just 25 minutes outside La Fortuna, Costa Rica.

All three properties have outdoor kitchens, living areas, and showers where you can connect deeply with nature.

You’ll hear the river rushing in the forest, and guests have spotted toucans and even sloths right from their dining tables.

Each unit also has a spacious air-conditioned bedroom where you can escape from heat and mosquitos. On rainy days, you’ll appreciate the wifi, television, and board games.

If you love feeling connected to nature and you don’t mind sharing your space with an occasional insect or small lizard, these rustic-yet-comfortable lodgings are perfect for you.

Arenal Jungle Villas is on a gravel road outside the small village of Chachagua, a 25 minute scenic drive from La Fortuna,

It’s easy to reach if you have a car (or, even better, an SUV or 4X4).

But if you’re traveling without a car, don’t worry. Uber can get you there from La Fortuna for about $10, or we can connect you with a local driver.

La Fortuna is famous for its volcano, waterfall, and local wildlife.

Some of our favorite activities include sloth walks, swimming in the waterfall, boat safaris, and night hikes. Adventurous souls will enjoy ziplines, hanging bridges, canyoing, rapelling and rafting.

When you’re ready to relax, you can soak in the hot springs with a cocktail, get a massage — or relax at home in your jungle villa or dome.
